Q: Are Shirt sizes guaranteed? Do the shirts run small?
A: We order high-quality technical (sweat-wicking material) shirts in men's and women's cuts.  Because of the material, the shirts do run small, so consider bumping up a size from what you would normally wear.  Thankfully, the shirts do not shrink because they are not cotton.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee sizes.  We order the shirts over a month before the race when only 10% of the runners have registered.  We have to estimate the number of participants AND their shirt sizes, which, as you can imagine, is very difficult to get right.  We do try to get every participant a shirt that fits!

Q: When does online registration close?
A: Online Registration will close at noon on the Friday before the race.  After it's closed, you have the option of registering during Packet Pick-up on Saturday, or on race morning beginning at 7:30am for an additional $5/runner.

Q: How is parking? Where should I park?
A: On race morning, pull into the Hudson Garden lots.  Our parking attendants will direct you to one of 4 parking lots that are available to runners near the gardens.  If the lots are all full, the attendants will direct you across the street to the East side of Santa Fe to park in the Arapahoe Community College parking lots.

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Unfortunately, Hudson Gardens does not allow dogs on their property.

Q: Is it okay to push a stroller?
Absolutely! You are welcome to walk or run with a stroller for the race, we just ask that you give the other runners room to maneuver around you.

Q: Do I need to register my kids for the 5K?
A:  Children who wish to walk or run the whole 5K will need to be registered for the event.  You do not need to register children riding in strollers.  Only paid registrations will receive a race t-shirt and goody-bag.

Q: How do I sign up my children for the Kids Run?
A: You can sign them up online, however, you will have to pay the additional online processing fee.  You can also wait until race morning.  We will have all parents sign a waiver and pick up a bib for any children who wish to run in the Kids Fun Run.  The event is $10/child and all participants will receive a shirt and medal at the finish. Parents running with their children do not need to register.

Q: Why did the race change locations from 2011 to 2012?
A:  The Justice Run has grown over the past two years (thanks to our amazing community and participants) and we have outgrown the space on the Highline Canal Trail.  We were no longer able to obtain a permit for the old courses, unless we were willing to cap the number of runners at 150.  To continue growing and holding our event, we had to make the decision to move to a new location that would allow us to have more people participate.  We will miss our old courses, but we didn’t want to turn people away who wanted to run for such a great cause!

Q:  How are you able to give 100% of money raised to the non-profits? Doesn’t the race cost money to put on?
A:  Thankfully, we have amazing sponsors who completely cover the cost of the race and donate their time and supplies to help the Justice Run operate on a small budget.  Because of other’s generosity, every single penny of your registration cost will go directly to the two non-profits and their work with rescued victims of trafficking.
