Open Door Ministries

 is a faith-based community development organization that exists to address poverty, build community and cultivate followers of Christ in Denver. Through 4 distinct focus areas - housing, kids and youth programs, outreach and leadership development, individuals are empowered to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. Open Door also serves women that have come out of domestic violence and trafficking situations. By taking a wholistic approach, women are offered a safe living environment and community to begin their transformational healing journey.

United 2 Stop Human Trafficking

serves as a strategic connector, educator, and unifier, turning awareness into action and people into protectors. Focusing on: Community & Family Awareness Education; Strategic Partnerships with vetted frontline organizations; Empowering schools, churches, and business to take action; Mobilizing sponsors, donors & influencers to fuel the fight; and Creating prevention-first protection strategies for children. We believe that human trafficking is defeated not by one, but by a unified front.

provides confidential, survivor-directed advocacy and comprehensive case management to survivors of human trafficking throughout Colorado. We support all survivors of both sex and labor trafficking as they reclaim their autonomy and build safe, healthy, and independent lives.

Life Center Ethiopia

is a nonprofit dedicated to igniting hope and breaking the cycle of poverty for Ethiopia's most vulnerable. Grounded in the call to care for "the least of these," our work focuses on three core pillars: our Child Enrichment Program, which provides education and healthcare to vulnerable children and youth; our Widow Empowerment Program, offering micro-loans and mentorship to widows; and our Collaborative Ventures, which launch sustainable businesses like dairy and poultry farming.

The program prioritizes safety, empowering individual wholeness, and offering life enhancing skills through the following healing components.

Juvenile Assessment Center

provides a coordinated site which contributes to the safety of youth, families, and the community through early intervention, comprehensive assessment and improved access to appropriate services in Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties in Colorado. They are a non-profit that serves as an impartial ear to youth and families in an effort to understand underlying issues contributing to a youth’s behavior.  Through in-depth assessment(s) and evidence-based screening tools, staff work to understand the barriers youth and families are experiencing at home, school or in the community.  We then connect the youth and family to the necessary resources and services to help overcome their current barriers and create a stable environment where they can thrive.  When appropriate, the JAC coordinates with law enforcement, courts, schools, etc. allowing them to have a better picture of that youth and families’ needs and strengths.

Father to the Fatherless International

was founded in October, 2010, to help the abused and neglected of Uganda.  The organization has bought 83 acres of land and put three buildings on it in these six years of operations.  The ministry also supports ~40 young people (ages 4-21) with schooling costs through a sponsorship program.  Our goal is to see children off the streets and flourishing in a God-centered educational program where they can grow in a loving environment and be given a hope and a future.

SafeHouse Denver

provides a full scope of services for survivors of domestic violence, including trafficking survivors whose abusive partners use trafficking as a form of power and control, helping the survivor connect to resources and ways to healing. Our services include emergency shelter, non-residential counseling and advocacy, an extended stay program, community education, and a 24-hour crisis and information line offered at no cost because of the generosity of the community.
