Resilience Rising

combats the commercial sexual exploitation of women and children in the United States by providing residential and mentoring programs with opportunities for safety, healing, and empowerment. Resilience Rising aims to equip survivors with coping and life skills to break intergenerational cycles of abuse and trauma. With an ultimate goal of increasing a client’s social recovery capital, we can reduce the vulnerability and risk factors for recidivism of substance use, homelessness, survival sex, and sexual exploitation.

Labratory to Combat Human Trafficking

is a state chapter of the national NGO Polaris Project formed in 2005. At the time, the national response to human trafficking was still very new. Amanda was moved by a desire to see her generation uphold human rights more effectively. In Colorado, early efforts to combat human trafficking were isolated, uncoordinated, and disconnected from data. In the years since, our programs have become critical to supporting survivors and strengthening Colorado’s response. The Lab has conducted major research projects, led the operation of Colorado's 24/7 Trafficking Hotline, trained more than 53,000 community members and professionals, and supported nearly 200 aspiring human rights leaders.

Father to the Fatherless International

was founded in October, 2010, to help the abused and neglected of Uganda.  The organization has bought 83 acres of land and put three buildings on it in these six years of operations.  The ministry also supports ~40 young people (ages 4-21) with schooling costs through a sponsorship program.  Our goal is to see children off the streets and flourishing in a God-centered educational program where they can grow in a loving environment and be given a hope and a future.
